Meet our wonderful staff who provide home visits to the Lower Mainland, Squamish and the Fraser Valley. Our furry home care staff, also work and train at the hotel, are bonded and stay in touch with the hotel during their home visits when they need guidance or help, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
The hotel will physically, or virtually meet with you before hand, set up a detailed written care plan for your beloved furry family members. If there is ever a reason your hotel butler is unable to visit your home, there is always someone else (or myself) to cover an emergency, and you can rest assured that your animals are cared for and your time away won’t be affected.
Holli, (owner of the hotel) grew up with cat and dogs, and up until 3 years ago, had a high energy, aggressive Husky Shepherd that she spent a lot of time training and caring for. Your dog/s, as well as your cat/s will be in great hands.

Hi, my name is Ming. I live on the North Shore and like to spend my time going up and down mountains on bikes, feet and skis. My work history has been in healthcare, but I have retired from that and moved on to the much more sane, much more peaceful world of feline hospitality. I have been working at the cat hotel for Holli for the past year and return home every day to wrangle two kids, two cats and a very patient husband. Your furry babies will get good care, good fun and good cuddles while you’re gone.
Ngaire has always had a love for animals and has had many pets in her life. Her two children are both in University so she finds herself with some extra time to put towards animals and working for Holli at the Scratching Post is a perfect fit! Ngaire actively volunteers (pre covid) for a dog rescue in WA, and brings dogs home to foster.
Ngaire is a long time Deep Cove resident where she lives with her husband and her beloved boxer Kobe. She looks forward to providing excellent care for your furry family members.

The love of animals has lead me down the healing path. My name is Christine. Animals have always been in my life and they have been the angels that have led me to discover that we are all infinite beings. I am a animal communicator and healer. I love taking care of these furry angels and spending time with them. Those are the moments I find to be some of the happiest for me. For it is a gift to look into those eyes of wisdom and love. In my family life I have surrounded myself with animals and I will cherish yours as I do my own. I have extensive knowledge and experience with all animals. My entire life has revolved around not only how to physically take care of them. But how to emotionally connected and understand their language. How to feel their emotions and be there to assist. It is my true great honour. Because every day we learn a little more from our furry friends.
